Founded in 2006 in Southern California, MICRONIX USA designs and manufactures miniature micro- and nano-positioning components and Systems for life science, spectroscopy, microscopy, optical, and research applications, including laser technology, telecommunications, semiconductor manufacturing and metrology, and micro-manipulation. We specialize in piezo positioners based on patented stick-slip motor technology and remain the only U.S.-based company that designs and manufactures miniature positioners using this principle.
In addition to an extensive standard product line, we support rapid product development through customization of existing designs as well as fully custom and OEM solutions. Our engineering team works closely with customers to address demanding application requirements, with an emphasis on practical performance, integration, and manufacturability. As application needs continue to evolve, we expand our engineering and manufacturing capabilities through ongoing testing, materials evaluation, and incremental design improvements, allowing us to support a broader range of operating conditions while building on proven platforms.
